Jody G. Miller
Jody G. Miller has served as a Capella Education Company director since 2003. She is CEO and president of the Business Talent Group, a company she founded in 2005, which matches independent business executives with consulting, interim, and project-based assignments. From 2000 to 2007, she was a venture partner with Maveron LLC, a venture capital firm. Miller held various positions at Americast from 1995 to 1999, including acting president and chief operating officer, executive vice president, senior vice president for operations, and consultant. From 1993 to 1995, she served in the White House as special assistant to the president during the Clinton administration. She is a member of the board of directors of the National Campaign to Prevent Teenage Pregnancy, and has been a member of the board of directors of TRW Automotive Holdings Corp., an NYSE-listed global supplier of automotive components, since 2005. From 2000 to 2004, Miller also served as a member of the board of directors of Exide Technologies, an NYSE-listed battery manufacturing company. Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia.
