Capella University Master's and PhD Students to Gather in Jacksonville July 21–26
The online university hosts eight residential colloquia each year
MINNEAPOLIS, July 20, 2007 – Capella University an accredited online university, will gather in Jacksonville from July 21–26 for an intensive residency. Each year, Capella generally hosts eight residential colloquia, during which certain of the online university's students meet with their peers and faculty in a variety of workshops and presentations related to their degree specializations. The colloquium will he held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront hotel.
Every PhD student and some master's students from the online university are required to attend up to three colloquia, which are held at locations throughout the United States. Of the more than 19,000 students pursuing an online degree at Capella, nearly 85 percent are PhD and master’s students.
